Kinder Dyck is located in a small village 15 km east of Rotterdam, which is world-renowned for 19 well-preserved 18th-century windmill.
Kinder Dyck windmill was built around 1740,which is one of the largest Dutch antiquity windmill group. In 1997, Kinder Dyck windmills group was listed as “World Heritage List” by UNESCO, Kinder Dyck has become synonymous with Dutch windmill.
Kinder Dyck windmills group has used outdoor LED light on September 7th to the 20th 2009 , head of Kinder Dyck Foundation said replacing with outdoor LED flood light is mainly to save energy. In addition, they also hope that this will attract more tourists’ attention.
As many architects and designers thought LED lamps especially LED flood light emit too much white light to decorate windmill, so the designers had not used LED lights.
