LED lighting project in Thailand had been implemented in stages on May 8th 2013

LED lighting project launched by Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand had been implemented in stages on May 8th 2013, which was conducted the test with the current model of MR16 LED tube light for the first time , and was pasted with the 5th saving logo.

     

Thereafter, the Power Authority has been expanding the test range, LED lighting technology are gradually used in other types of tubs to achieve energy collectivization to gradually promote use of LED tube light in Thailand.

Thai prime power tower Secretary pointed out that the energy savings is over 50 % after a preliminary test of the model MR16LED lights especially the test with LED tube lights to replace fluorescent in family. It turns out that the promotion of LED lighting technology can effectively alleviate the rising energy demand. Consumption peak is on March 28 2013 when the total electricity consumption is 26,423 MW. Although the power consumption peak period has passed , it is expected that energy demand will only increase in future , and double in the next 20 years.

Power Authority has currently installed LED light on four dams, these LED lights were mainly installed beyond the street , after a period of trial and found , LED tube light can save 70 % of electricity savings than that of the common lamps. Currently , there are 700,000 streets in Thailand, if all of which are converted to LED lights, once reunification replacement, expected annual energy savings would have been up to 22.4 million units , or 67.2 million baht , a decrease in carbon dioxide emissions can by 14,000 tons per year .  What’s more，the lifespan of LED tube light is  longer than that of traditional bulbs.Browsing http://www.ledclan.com for more information about LED tube light.
