Precision Paragon，American manufacturer of energy saving lamps, recently released a survey of the lighting industry ‘s status quo . A total of more than 5,000 professionals in the lighting industry received the survey for this project.
More than half of respondents believe that there was a ” moderate” or “significant” growth in energy efficient lighting market including LED lighting such as household LED ceiling light in 2013, but only 20% of respondents held the same view in 2012 .
Lighting companies surveyed said that its results had achieved varying degrees of growth from 57% to 64% in the past few years ( mainly since 2010 ) .
63% of respondents lighting company said its 2013 revenues had met or exceed their expectations . And up to 82% of the respondents expect the the demand on household LED ceiling light and other LED lighting and traditional lighting industry will continue to grow in 2014.
Although there was a remain considerably grow in the sales in fluorescent lamps strong in 2013 , but the respondents said the proportion of LED lighting products particularly indoor LED light including LED ceiling light and commercial LED lights used in 2013 had accounted for 37%. And dating back to 2011 to 2013， the annual growth of LED lighting products is about 8%.
In addition, respondents believe that the amount of LED lighting especially household LED light including LED ceiling light installed will be more than that of fluorescent lighting for the first time by 2014,which will dominate the lighting market.
