How to design the LED tunnel lighting

The positive volt ampere characteristic of the LED is similar to the general diode, the applied forward voltage slightly change, the forward current will produce great changes , resulting in that the internal loss and fever of the LED rapidly increase,which seriously affect the normal work and life of the LED. constant current power supply must generally be used for high power LED tunnel light to prevent this from happening. To maximize the efficiency of the current source and reduce the heat , the input voltage of the current source must be reasonably controlled so that the maximum value is the same with the current after being deducted the internal voltage and match the total voltage the LED tunnel lighting needs. Internal losses is small, the reliability of the current source can be guaranteed .

The tunnel lighting Generally requires a large number of fixtures , huge power is consumed,the driver of the LED tunnel lights also requires that its power factor and harmonics generated must meet the requirements of the relevant standards in order to save energy and reduce the grid "pollution ", with due consideration of electromagnetic interference and electromagnetic compatibility .

( 1 ) adopt the power that is of high conversion efficiency, high stability  the conversion efficiency is greater than 87% , the power factor is greater than 95% , the switching power supply (96 ~ 264V) that strongly against the external voltage fluctuations together with the constant current circuit design,driving the LED tunnel light source at constant current is to ensure the life of LED tunnel lighting.

( 2 ) using the control circuit which appropriate the tunnel lighting, regulating the power of the LED tunnel lighting at different tunnel segments and different time is to achieve good lighting effect and energy saving. The introduction of the tunnel inlet section , using different current to drive at the Adaptation stage, transitional stage and outlet sections and trying best to make it is close to the curve required of the tunnel lighting to achieve the best lighting effects ; adopting the timing adjustment function at tunnel inlet section and an outlet section, by adjusting the output current PWM dimming or dual power supply , single supply at night , so that the power of the LED tunnel light is reduced to 50% of the daytime lighting , which are effective to reduce "light hole" and "black hole "phenomenon both during the day and night .
