It is understood that the existing 1957 HPS have been replaced with LED tunnel lighting  in Qiuwo Liang tunnel , Yin ditch tunnel, Hejiagou tower ditch tunnel No. 2 tower ditch Tunnel in Hebei Chengde expressway , since the project was put into operation The average monthly saving is about 45,000 degrees , the annual saving is 540,000 degrees .
Currently, LED tunnel lighting and the control technology based on real-time traffic has been applied in Anhui Lv’an to Wuhan Expressway , Beijing-Taipei Expressway and Shanghai-Chengdu Expressway and many tunnels, which can save 40% to 80% electricity.
